15 Genius Tools That Make Feeding Your Baby So Much Easier

15 Genius Tools That Make Feeding Your Baby So Much Easier

Once my kids turned six months old, I couldn’t wait to get baby food into my diet – along with all those gadgets that make feeding them so much easier. They seem to enjoy their diet consisting mostly of breast milk, but as a self-proclaimed foodie who adores pretty much everything (besides bananas, for the love of everything sacred, that stuff they keep away from me), I was excited to teach them . Little ones are about all the tasty and healthy baby food they can eat.

After that first messy encounter with solids (we went with mashed avocado, because if those kids don’t like that delicious green pepper, I can’t be sure they’re mine), I knew something had to be a high-tech or simple baby feeding gadget.

As technology changes, parents can feed their children. Making homemade baby food has never been easier, and even feeding babies has become less stressful thanks to new inventions. Whether you fill your bottles with formula or breast milk, the daily chore of preparing, heating, and cleaning them no longer requires 67 percent (or so) of your vigilance.

Yes, these are tools that make your life easier, but the best side effect is the extra time you spend with your adorable kids. (Or blink. Whatever works.)

Author’s note: I’ve researched and looked, but there isn’t yet any product that will give your parents (and poor knees) champions for your floors.

1 highchair with magnetic tray for dishes that stay put

Most highchairs pretty much stick to one concept — the seat, the tray, the straps — but leave it up to four moms (the people behind the famous mamaRoo) to push things up a notch. Their new and revolutionary high chair features a magnetic tray, which, used with Magnetic 4 Mum Plates, actually keeps food plates from drifting around your kitchen. It’s a good thing (believe me; we’re still recovering from the great 2015 spaghetti disaster in my house).

2 formats at the push of a button

Sometimes a mother is able to prepare a bottle of milk with both hands while her beloved child patiently waits. Often, that same mother would try to pour with one hand into unwashed bottles, dispensing the formula, and at the same time holding a crying baby, without one hand spraying the hot, sticky liquid around her kitchen shaking it together. This mom needs Baby Brezza Formula Pro, which mixes powdered formula (without pods!) and water to get the perfect bottle of hot formula with the push of a button.

3 Homemade High-Tech Baby Food

Lots of moms make up for themselves to find the truth (so many recipes!) don’t quite live up to expectations. Beba has a solution, an all-in-one steamer, mixer, reheater and defroster, which has been a constant mums favorite since its launch. The Raw High Chair prepares healthy, fresh foods in just 15 minutes, and it’s easy to clean to boot, because the last thing any mom needs is something a little cleaner. Don’t forget Peppa’s adorable teething spoons to go with her!

4 multi-purpose bottle warmer

There are a number of bottle warmers on the market, and most take a very scientific approach by simply blasting the thing with heat until then. It’s not terrible if your baby is feeding strictly, but this kind of unchecked heat can harm the valuable nutrients and antibodies found in breast milk. Keep your liquid gold safe with the Kinde Cozy, which uses a continuous stream of water to safely pour out any bottle (and baby food bag or jar).

5 homemade baby foods in no time

Some people are happy to cook their children’s food themselves; Others (cough, you really cough, cough) Just make food for your child is an idea he remembers. I’ve found a happy medium with an electric hand mixer that I can use to quickly mix soft foods (like fruit, avocado, and Greek yogurt) for the meals in question. Once my kids ate more foods, I mixed up a little of what I made for dinner (dilute it with some liquid—like apple juice if needed), and voil : Dinner is served.

6 hot bottle anywhere

We just got our youngest son for a water bottle, but this is a product that might make me (baby with gear) thinking about having another baby because it’s awesome. Iiamo Go is the best – are you ready for it? Self-heating bottle. Hot bottles on the go. Hot bottles in the restaurant. Hot bottles on airplanes. Hot bottles everywhere! Be sure to purchase the included heating-up cartridge ($11), and you’re ready to go.

7-in-1 bottle sterilizer and dryer

I’m a sucker for an all-in-one product. There are plenty of sterilizers on the market (many of them bottle-specific) but the Wabi—a tool that steams, sterilizes, and sterilizes bottles, pumps, pump parts, food utensils, and more—makes it work all at once. (s) All in one place. The real question is, once you say goodbye to seemingly balanced bottoms in your kitchen, what are you going to do with all that extra counter space?!

8 adjustable bouncy seat

There isn’t much better than a snuggle bar with a cute baby, but sometimes, mommy meal. or work. or pay the bill. Or, you know, anything that requires the use of at least one hand of it. Unfortunately, this often happens when your child needs to eat. To make things easier, I would offer anything from a jump to the height-adjustable bouncer. Simply lift your baby up when it’s time for bottle feeding and back (or not) when it’s time for play.

9 real food that is safe

It is important to introduce children to as many tastes as possible, because that may be when their taste buds are most receptive, or – as I choose to believe – because they have little to resist. (Try giving Brussels sprouts first to the average 3-year-old and he’ll know how it goes.) This easy-to-use mesh feeder allows parents to give their children ‘real’ food without putting them at risk of choking.

10 Less Mealtime Meals

Feeding a baby shouldn’t be that difficult in theory, but in practice, sometimes it’s the mother who needs the bib more than the baby. This silicone squeeze spoon takes messy containers out of the equation: Simply pour pureed food into the lamp, twist the spoon and apply pressure with one hand to completely remove the bitten portion. It works great at home, but is especially good on the go.

11 snacks to keep in a bowl

One day, you realize this: Your cute baby is growing up. Little gurgles resonate throughout your home. Delight your ears with the sound of your baby’s first “mother”! And of course, your whole house is crammed with bite-sized snacks. Literally, they would be everywhere. Admit it, or check out these covered snack catchers, which keep food stuck until ready to eat.

12 Smash And-Go Baby Foods

When I was pregnant, I thought I was going to make all my baby food, but it turns out I’m not the baby food – thank you so much – the bag type. However, I love the easy concoctions of the NUK Mash and Serve Bowl. It’s great for feeding soft foods (bananas, avocados or sweet potatoes) into a large number of combinations for instant homemade puree.

13 Baby’s first spoon

When you practice self-feeding just to give a baby a spoon, this can be a messy endeavor (in the literal sense of the word). figuratively) , but the innovative GOOtensil helps ease the transition. You don’t need food to eat it, so little fingers can hold the bowl in almost any position, plus indentations on the head catch enough food for baby – ensuring it goes more and less in the mouth. at your destination

14 bottles anywhere

Let me tell you the bottom line when it comes to diaper bags. I try to pack what I think we’ll need on every outing, but with two kids under four, I can’t even play Sherpas every time I leave the house. However, I know enough to know that a hungry baby doesn’t mess with it, so I always keep these water bottle adapters and a container of formula milk in my bag. (Note: Also works well for 3-year-olds who haven’t mastered drinking from an open bowl.)

15 minimal clutter on the go

When your baby puts his finger on foods, feeding him is easy, but it turns out to be quite healthy. All of my kids think eating at the table is a delicious introduction to the main course, and they think it’s right not to eat anything on the table top. Since I have less confidence in said table cleanliness than my kids, I ditched these disposable placemats to keep things (relatively) clean and tidy while on the go.
