The law penalizing serious accidents means death, injury or disease caused by or due to work, work-related constructions and facilities, etc. It applies to cases where there is one or more deaths due to a work accident, when two or more people need treatment for a period of more than 6 months due to the same accident, and when there are three or more occupational diseases. An employer or business manager who violates the law shall be punished with imprisonment for a period of no less than one year or a fine.

 

With the frequent occurrence of employee deaths due to excessive labor intensity, large gaming companies are keen to establish a management system, such as creating an organization dedicated to responding to the Serious Disaster Punishment Act to prevent its recurrence.
