Momo making ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 6-7 garlic cloves (grated)
- 1/2 cabbage (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup paneer (grated)
- 1 tablespoon oil (for filling)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander (optional)
How to make momo:
First of all, put a pinch of salt and water in the flour in a bowl and knead it soft and leave it covered until firm.
To make the momo filling, chop the shredded cabbage, cheese, onion, garlic and green coriander in a bowl and mix them well.
Now add oil, black pepper powder and salt to it and leave it for an hour. By doing this, the cabbage becomes soft.
After the specified time, make round balls of maida and roll them in dry maida and roll in small thin purees.
Then put the momo filling in the middle of the puree and close it giving shape. Similarly, prepare all the momos by filling them up.
To cook it, take a steamer pot of momo. Fill more than half the water in the lower pot and heat it on gas.
Then put the momo on the separator first and place it over a pot of hot water. Make sure the bowl is lubricated.
Cover the momo and steam it over a low heat for 10 minutes.
Vegetable momo is ready. Served with red pepper sauce and mayonnaise.
